कैसा है यह लोकतंत्र और यह संविधान किसकी सेवा करता है (चौबीसवीं क़िस्त)
जब क्रान्तिकारी बुर्जुआ वर्ग द्वारा सम्पन्न बुर्जुआ क्रान्तियों के बाद अस्तित्व में आये समाज की ये दशा हुई तो इसमें आश्चर्य की बात नहीं कि भारत जैसे उत्तर-औपनिवेशिक देशों में जो बुर्जुआ जनवाद अस्तित्व में आया वह निहायत ही अधूरा और विकृत है। भारत में तो बुर्जुआ वर्ग ने औपनिवेशिक सत्ता के खि़लाफ़ जुझारू संघर्षों की बजाय समझौता-दबाव-समझौता की रणनीति से सत्ता हासिल की, परन्तु जिन उत्तर-औपनिवेशिक देशों में बुजुआ वर्ग क्रान्तिकारी संघर्षों के ज़रिये सत्तासीन हुआ वहाँ की जनता को भी पश्चिमी देशों जितने जनवादी अधिकार नहीं मिले।

साम्प्रदायिकता के खिलाफ़ गत्ते की तलवार भाँजते मौक़ापरस्त जोकरों का प्रहसन
प्रश्न केवल चुनावी राजनीति का है ही नहीं। पूँजीवादी संकट पूरे समाज में (क्रान्तिकारी शक्तियों की प्रभावी उपस्थिति के अभाव में) फ़ासीवादी प्रवृत्तियों और संस्कृति के लिए अनुकूल ज़मीन तैयार कर रहा है। संघ परिवार अपने तमाम अनुसंगी संगठनों के सहारे बहुत व्यवस्थित ढंग से इस ज़मीन पर अपनी फसलें बो रहा है। वह व्यापारियों और शहरी मध्यवर्ग में ही नहीं, आदिवासियों से लेकर शहरी मज़दूरों की बस्तियों तक में पैठकर काम कर रहा है। इसका जवाब एक ही हो सकता है। क्रान्तिकारी शक्तियाँ चाहे जितनी कमज़ोर हों, उन्हें बुनियादी वर्गों, विशेषकर मज़दूर वर्ग के बीच राजनीतिक प्रचार-उद्वेलन, लामबंदी और संगठन के काम को तेज़ करना होगा। जैसाकि भगतसिंह ने कहा था, जनता की वर्गीय चेतना को उन्नत और संगठित करके ही साम्प्रदायिकता का मुक़ाबला किया जा सकता है।

मोदी के गुजरात “विकास” का सच
यह सोचना कठिन नहीं है कि गुजरात में “विकास” हुआ है तो किसकी हड्डियों को चूसकर। और मोदी चाहे जितना चिल्ल-पों मचा ले जनता से यह सच्चाई छुपी नहीं है कि चाहे मोदी हो, यूपी सरकार या केन्द्र सरकार, मेहनतकशों के ख़ून से ही कुछ हिस्से को “विकास” का तोहफ़ा मिल रहा है।
